	English Tourist Council Award The Star rating scheme for Caravan Parks has been developed to reflect consumer expectations and has quality at its heart. The Star rating reflects the overall quality of the park and the highest rating of Five Star is reserved for those parks of exceptional quality which also provide specific key facilities and services.The Star scheme reflects the ever higher standards which Holiday, Caravan and Camping Parks have to offer in the new millennium. It is the result of extensive research into what visitors are looking for, ensuring that you can easily find a park that meets your expectations.Parks are visited annually by trained, impartial assessors. A rating of from One to Five stars is awarded, based on cleanliness, environment and the quality of facilities and service provided.
	David Bellamy Conservation Awards are made each year to parks which can demonstrate policies showing active concern for the environment. Assisted by local nature groups and holidaymakers themselves, David Bellamy looks at virtually every aspect of park management - from the protection of plant and animal habitats to the efficient use of energy and recycling. Helping visitors to understand conservation is also considered an important qualifying feature. Three levels of excellence can be achieved : Gold, Silver and Bronze.
	Caravan Holiday Park of the Year This is awarded to one park each year who can demonstrate their distinctive appeal to visitors through the facilities and experience they offer.The Award is graded in 5 different categories these being: Commitment to Excellence Staff Training and Development Accessibility Innovative Marketing Care for the Environment
	Practical Caravan: Top 100 Family Parks This award is voted for by the readers of Practical Caravan magazine which is one of the UK's best selling Caravan magazines.
	White Rose Award for Tourism This Award is issued by the Yorkshire Tourist Board for The Winner of Caravan Holiday Park of the Year for Yorkshire.
