Fish & Ships Festival 2024

The Fish and Ships Festival is all about celebrating everything Whitby is, from its fishing heritage to its famous fish and chips. All throughout the town you will find live music, cooking demonstrations, walking tours and activities for the kids to enjoy.

All of the top attractions in Whitby join in with the festival activities, so you can find everything from fun workshops to tours at the likes of the Captain Cook Museum, Whitby Harbour and the famous Quayside Fish and Chips restaurant.

The live music is supplied by local bands playing special concerts, and stalls will feature everything from locally created gin to locally sourced seafood. Head to Whitby over the festival's weekend to celebrate everything the town has to offer
