The Gothic Gathering 2026

Get ready for four days of gothic fun in Whitby this spring! From 23rd – 26th April 2026, The Gothic Gathering returns with a hauntingly brilliant programme of events set at the atmospheric Whitby Pavilion, right in the legendary home of Dracula.

This four-day celebration of gothic culture brings together fans of the dark, the dramatic and the delightfully macabre. Across the weekend, you can explore the Alternative Market with gothic art, trinkets and fashion; kick off Friday night with quirky talks and social evenings; and on Saturday, join the Vampire Victorium Masquerade Ball, complete with music, dancing and prizes for the best costumes.

There’s something for everyone, from the Ink & Shadow Club’s poetry and art evenings to the Baby Bat Ball for younger fans, Gothic vehicle displays, author sessions down Literature Alley, and even tabletop and live-action gaming on Sunday.
