Illuminated Abbey at Whitby Abbey

Explore the darker side of history amid the bright lights this Halloween. See the story of Dracula brought to life in the very ruins that inspired Bram Stoker’s classic horror story. Meet witches and witch-finders, and enjoy a drink and some delicious hot food.

The event is suitable for all ages but it does take place outdoors so be sure to wear suitable clothing and footwear.

Cast light on a dark history this Halloween! See Bram Stoker's inspiration in a new light as Whitby Abbey is bathed in dramatic illuminations once again. Have your camera at the ready as you explore the gothic splendour of the ruins lit up with all the colours of the rainbow.
